Tools to help you focus and concentrate on objectives

    Author:- Dr Sudesh Yadav

Every one does not find it easy to be focused and concentrate on objectives. It requires a change in perspective and focused intentions to break away from redundant beliefs and negativity. But once you start changing your outlook, you will feel motivated, energized, and empowered.

To achieve your goals and enjoy a fulfilling life, try the following:

Bad choices: Everyone has something in their career they wish they'd done differently. May be you ran into someone in your career who could have helped you move to greater heights, but you failed to ask for help. Again, you know that you are not alone. Bad choices are something we all share. It is not what happens to you in your career that matters, but how you recover from it. Have you moved on, or are you replaying every moment over again in your mind? Replays are for sports, not for your career. Let it go so you can move on to something better.

Attitude: what kind of vibe you are sending around? Believe you are hiding a bad attitude? Your belief is wrong. People can pick it up from a mile away. No one can hide unhappiness or anger. You may think that you may have a right to be gloomy, but the person you are hurting the most is you. No one cares that you are upset. They do care that you are being difficult. Want to shake things up in your career and see real results? Become a more positive person. This one act can transform your career.

Proper approach to problems: Face a problem confidently, expectantly, with the attitude that there exists a logical, practical solution just waiting to be found.

Practice presence: Stop your thoughts for a moment. Listen to the sounds around you. Pay attention. Be present to this key moment. There is no future or past, just now. No worrying thoughts at all. Step away from old memories, past relationships, and hurts. Relish this moment of quiet before your thoughts re-engage.

Recognize non-empowering thoughts: If we believe everything that is put in front of us, we are not exercising our creativity and the power of our own mind. We are taking the easy road and subscribing to mainstream thought, which often does not have the equivalent of goodness. It's easier to let someone else do your thinking, isn't it? To shift away from negative, self-defeating thoughts, you must first recognize them. So, awareness of what we are thinking is the first step, so learn to listen to your words, whether mental or spoken.

Don’t stress about the things you cannot change: By being positive about life and focusing on the things that you can transform, you'll discover a world full of opportunities and potential waiting for you to explore. Work on the things you can.

Glass is always half-full rather than half-empty: Eliminate any negative dialogue. Listen to your internal voice as well as your external one. Replace the negative words with a positive sentence. It takes practice, time, and determination, but after a while, you'll start eliminating those negative vibes. You must think on the positive side of everything.

Devote your time and energy to a good cause: the world needs people who can make it even better than what it is. You can inject some of your positive energy into charitable ventures or simply by showing your kindness on a daily basis. Focus on what you can do to contribute to a better world and what others expect you to do.

Exercise regularly: Get some fresh oxygen circulating through your blood. Take a stroll through the park. Climb a mountain. Awake those feel good vibes. Regular exercise will enhance your mood and make you feel positive.

Be thankful: There is no better way to change your energy than to turn up the volume on thankfulness. If you are thankful for what makes you happy, by the law of Attraction, the universe will provide you with MORE to be thankful for. Be generous with gratitude - to those in your life who care, to your Higher Power, and to yourself. Your natural state is unlimited abundance, so to be thankful for all you are and your journey.
